Clary Ng

Malaysia

Clary’s passion for healthcare development began during her formative years, leading her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) where she developed a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences. After graduating, she joined the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, at a tertiary hospital that served as the primary referral center for hematology. Here, she gained valuable experience and a profound understanding of the multiple responsibilities of a pharmacist in a hospital setting.

Upon becoming a fully registered pharmacist, Clary was transferred to a rural district health clinic, catering primarily to geriatric patients with limited access to specialized healthcare, where she became aware of healthcare disparities. Seeking to diversify her skills, Clary joined a local pharmaceutical manufacturing company, to gain an understanding of the distribution of medications from a different perspective.

Clary’s career took a pivotal turn when she discovered the Angels Initiative. Drawn by the mission to reduce treatment delays and improve stroke care quality, she saw it as an opportunity to make a significant impact. As an Angels consultant, Clary works with an exceptional team dedicated to advancing awareness, improving outcomes in stroke care and most importantly, giving life a second chance.
