Sylvia is a certified nutritionist and lactation consultant. She began her career as a practicing public health nutritionist in the Health Promotion Board, Singapore Ministry of Health, and was principal nutritionist for her own company for two years. She has more than ten years’ experience managing billion-dollar brands for top food and beverage companies like Nestlé and Friesland Campina.
She entered the pharmaceutical industry eight years ago, where she spearheaded customer engagement excellence, digital communications and transformation for medical affairs.
In her current role she is responsible for leading the Angels teams in the region of ASEAN, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand (ASKAN). She is also the More Health Pillar ASKAN lead for Boehringer Ingelheim’s Sustainable Development for Generations Program.
She says, “As the Angels leader for ASKAN I wake up with pride and joy daily knowing that I have a role in impacting the lives of 1,1 million stroke patients, to give them the best chance of surviving a stroke.”
Sylvia lives in the beautiful country of Singapore with her son and two daughters.
