Vivian Oliveira

Vivian is a qualified nurse with 20 years’ experience in overseeing medical and scientific content of educational, scientific, and clinical information materials in collaboration with stakeholders. She graduated in nursing from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2003) and subsequently obtained a qualification in Teaching from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2004), in Cardiology from Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo (2005) and in Quality Management in Health from Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (2012).

She gained her PhD in Health Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo in 2015, and in 2022 completed a research fellowship at the University of Michigan. She is currently a postdoctoral student in the department of Cardiology at the Federal University of São Paulo.

In addition to nursing experience in excellent hospitals and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the health area, she has worked as a senior scientific educator on the Telestroke project in Brazil, where her passion for saving lives through stroke patient care was cultivated.
