The QASC trial showed that multi-disclipinary nurse-led interventions to manage fever, hyperglycaemia and swallow difficulties significantly decreased death and dependency after stroke.* QASC Europe aims to evaluate the implementation of the QASC Fever, Sugar, Swallow (FeSS) Clinical Protocols in stroke services across Europe.
