Zsofia Reichert

Hungary

Zsófia Reichert's journey in healthcare began in Hungary where she studied nursing and patient care at the Faculty of Health at the University of Debrecen. She specialised in physiotherapy and in the course of her studies met stroke patients in various settings – in the neurology department after acute stroke, in the neurosurgery intensive care unit after hemorrhagic stroke, and in the rehabilitation wards where she helped them to reintegrate into daily life.

After graduation, Zsófia started a dual career as a physiotherapist and healthcare representative. Her dedication and expertise soon made the latter her primary role, expanding her knowledge of the healthcare sector and the pharmaceutical industry. Zsófia was particularly comfortable working with medical colleagues who valued her professional insights and advice, always putting the well-being of patients first.

When the opportunity arose at Angels Initiative, Zsófia knew this was her true calling. This role allows her to extend her impact beyond rehabilitation, providing comprehensive support from the start of a patient's journey to their arrival in hospital, and ensuring they receive the right treatment at the right time. She is driven by a deep commitment to improving patient care in Hungary and inspired by the potential to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Says Zsófia: "We all leave something behind, but it's rare to leave something truly lasting and worthwhile."
